Claire & Steve are very much outdoors people. For their wedding the biggest thing was to get married outside. Well the weather tried to throw a wrench in the plans but they wouldn’t have it. Instead of having the wedding indoors instead of on the point (where it was to muddy) they decided to have it on the stairs. At Sherwood Inn they have these beautiful stairs that take you down to the point with a full view of the lake. This was a first for us and I think the staff at the Sherwood but it was a great idea. The aisle was created through everyone and they got to hear all the well wishes from their guests on the way down and back up.  The weather finally realized it was not going to win and the sun came out for awhile for photographs after the ceremony.  Some of my favorite things from the day, Claire & Steve seeing each other before the ceremony, including their dog in the whole day, their fun friends who were up for anything and Claire & Steve asking us to bring our cedar canoe so they could get a little paddle in on their wedding day.
Venue: Sherwood Inn
Flowers & decor: Jane Marshall flowers
