Do you have family and friends  that are notoriously late for everything?    Worrying and stressing about those tardy people can really be a downer on your wedding day.  I cringe every time I see people sneaking in well after the bride goes down the aisle. Sometimes, it was not even their fault. With proper planning you can make sure this is not something you have to worry about.

  • First, make sure everyone knows exactly where the ceremony will be taking place. Providing maps or a bus service are two great ideas.
  • Second, Tell everyone and have the ceremony time printed in invitations, wedding website, anywhere your guests are going to see etc.
  •  Third,  plan with your venue and officiant, photographer etc. that the ceremony will actually start at 10 or 15 minutes after the stated time. Such as 4:15 instead of 4:00.
  • Fourth, don’t let the cat out of the bag! It’s hard to keep secrets  but don’t tell everyone otherwise it won’t work. Just think 10 extra minutes to relax, take some deep breathes and get excited about starting your new life together!

Wouldn’t feel like a blog post with out an image. We had snow this morning and it reminded me of this beautiful snow day.

Cheers,
